What I’m playing
Not much time to game, but a couple of hours into Palworld after its 1.0 release this week. Good comfort food, I played a lot of Ark and this hits a lot of the same notes. I’ll always have a soft spot for survival crafting games like this.
What I’m up to
I’m all-in on Linux. PoP_OS had been my daily-driver on my desktop since January, replacing Windows. Was getting unhappy about performance and some config stuff and made the leap to Omarchy this week. What a breath of fresh air, it’s unbelievably snappy and intuitive. Malleability in the age of AI agents is huge, and the OS is designed for it. Very impressed with what DHH and co. have put together here.
Inspired by the Omarchy move I finally put Bazzite on my RoG Ally X, great so far. After ditching Xbox Gamepass last year I had no reason to keep Windows around. Much snappier and the suspend/resume is very nice.
