What I’m playing
After hearing good things about Saros, I picked up their 2021 game Returnal to see if I enjoyed the genre. It’s quite hard, but satisfying now that I’m starting to improve. Would be nice to have a bit more playtime-based progression a la’ Hades but I am getting better!

Band of Brothers rewatch for Memorial Day weekend. Always great!
What I’m listening to
Listening to Bottlerock from our backyard. The highlight for me (main stage only, as that’s what we can hear) was LCD Soundsystem.
What I’m up to
Working through Karpathy’s Let’s build GPT, trying to build a more intuitive understanding for how transformers work. I’ve never had a good intuition for matrix math, maybe I need to drill that some more to make some of these transforms automatic - I think that would help move up a level of abstraction to thinking about the algorithms and operations.
